Carnival Cruise Ship Reviews-Our 3 Favorites

By michael chastain

So far we have cruised on eleven different Carnival Cruise ships and we have three clear cut favorites. We have left out of many ports and sailed on ships large and small. So what follows are our three Carnival Cruise ship reviews of our top picks.

Our third favorite Carnival Cruise ship is the Carnival Glory. The Glory truly is an amazing ship. I may be a little biased towards this ship as we received a free upgrade to a suite on this cruise. The suite is not that much more spectacular than a regular balcony. You have a fridge, larger balcony and a full bathtub with the suite. The ship is one the larger ones in the fleet.  It holds 2,974 passengers and weighs in at 110,000 tons. The food on this ship was above average compared to the other cruises we have been on. It was top quality with tons of choices. We visited Nassau,St.Thomas and St. Martin on this cruise. St. Thomas was our favorite port as it was simply beautiful. We did some amazing snorkeling at Coki beach. We simply found a taxi and they took us right to it. One of favorite features on this ship is the serenity deck. It is a very modern decorated deck for adults only with tons of comfortable chairs and umbrellas. The ship also has some very fun waterslides. The entertainment was very good also.

Our second pick is the Carnival Pride. This ship was our favorite as far as décor goes. It was very tasteful and modern. This ship was also one of the cleanest we have ever seen. The Pride also has the serenity deck. There are some very fun water activities on board. The food on this ship is simply top notch. We also love the flexible choice dining where passengers can have dinner in the main dining room anytime they like between 5:45 and 9:30 p.m. Everything we ate was good and there was plenty of it. The entertainment was very good as well. The Carnival Pride is one of the medium size ships at 88,500 tons and 2,024 passengers. Even though the ship was full there was always a spot you could find to be alone.

Now on to our favorite Carnival cruise ship the Carnival Legend. It simply has it all. The Legend has the serenity deck, flexible dining option, fun water recreations, amazing food, tasteful decor, five star entertainment and was extremely clean. We chose the Western Caribbean itinerary of Grand Cayman, Cozumel Mexico, Belize and Isla Roatan Honduras. Every shore tour we took at each port was perfect. Hope you enjoyed our Carnival cruise ship reviews.
